MNE Events is an award-winning DJ company proudly serving the Tri-State and New England areas with our limitless love of music, impeccable curatorial style, and unbeatable customer service. The DJs at MNE have gained notoriety from working on commercial radio and being involved in the some of the biggest events to hit the State of CT. Now turning the focus to Weddings and Private events…the next legendary event we want to be apart of is YOURS!!!

Our commitment is to our clients – to provide excellent service and to put an emphasis on the music and dance floor. All of our DJs work closely with our clients to craft clever, custom playlists that both meet the needs of your special event and suit your personal tastes. You can count on our professionals to pack your dance floor and provide focused customer service—from our first conversation with you until the last song of the night.

Meet The Team

G.Money

G.Money da Prince is mostly known around Connecticut and the surrounding areas for being a Radio Personality, Club Promoter and Host. After going through the tedious process of getting married in 2014, he decided there had to be a way to make this process easier. That’s when he turned his attention into creating MNE Events, a one stop shop for all your entertainment needs. Taking the same energy from the Radio, Nightclubs and Concert Venues to giving you the best Wedding, Prom or Corporate Holiday Party EVER!!!

Money Mike

Mike McKenzie is Co-CEO of “MNE Events.” Currently a resident of Atlanta, GA by way of Kansas City and his hometown of Windsor, CT. Mike has spent half of his life in the Music and Sports entertainment industry as an Event, Production and Digital Marketing Specialist. He enjoys working behind the scenes to help complete any production large or small and making sure the customer and client are satisfied!

DJ C-Smooth

DJ C-Smooth has been around music most of his life. He has experience in radio being a DJ on AIC’s WAIC 91.9 FM. He brings joy and passion when he DJ’s his events, and always leaves his clients very happy and satisfied. He brings a wide range of knowledge of music. He is also very flexible in doing a multitude of different types of events.

DJDark Syde

DjDark Syde is a certified Karaoke Queen who specializes in all genres of music dating back to the 50’s. Her energy once the music starts is contagious and she works hard to ensure that each specially tailored playlist matches your desires for your event. With 7 years DJ experience under her belt and 2 years as a radio personality, she’s sure to keep the energy flowing and your guests entertained! She has dj’d everything from sporting events, fashion shows, artist showcases, weddings, karaoke and more!

DJ DopeGod

Chris “DJ DopeGod” Knighton is easily one of the best up and coming DJ’s out of the State of Connecticut. DJing since his teenage years, Chris has been around music all his life. Being in the military and moving around a lot only enhanced his love. Getting the opportunity to experience different sounds in different areas broadened his horizons to different Genres. That is why he is MNE’s go to DJ for most events. With his passion for music, knowledge and experience, there is no event DJ DopeGod can’t handle.

Paparazzi Rob

Robert has been in the world of Entertainment since the early 2000’s. With his 20-year proven record of success in the areas of hosting, promotion and marketing is what made him one of the leaders in the Rhode Island nightlife. Over the past several years, under the moniker of “PaparazziRob”, he has provided event promotion, marketing and consultation services for various events including weddings, birthdays, school events and more. Even with all the talents he possesses, he still’s the most talent when handed the microphone to host your event.

DJ TMedz

I fell in love with music at the age of 10. Being raised in a household that played different genres of music, it was only a matter of time before I was sneaking into basement parties and after hour spots. I knew at an early age that music would be one of my passions. Music has always given me a rush of adrenaline and the feeling of power. When you’re able to play songs and create an electric vibe and connect with your audience, it’s magical. Looking back on the tons of needles I’ve broken, and the long road trips searching for records I needed, just prepared me for where I am today. With over 20 years experience, all that hard work has been paying off and the best has yet to come. Music is timeless and one of the main reasons I love my job.

DJ Billy Busch

To put it simply, if you live in the Connecticut area and own a radio, then you’ve heard the name DJ Billy Busch. Given the nickname, “the man with the sharpest hands” due to his incredible speed and sharp cuts when scratching records. That along with his passion for music has made him a staple in the DJ community. Working with MNE now gives Billy the chance to spread his wings to prove that his music knowledge goes way further than what you hear him play daily on the Hot 93.7. JR Drizzy

My name is Jahmal R (but everyone calls me JR)

At its core, I take pictures! More specifically I capture your special moments while you’re living them. Born and raised in Hartford, CT, now at the age of 34 I run my photography and videographer business.

My goal is to show beauty, grace and character through my photos. Although I’ve worked with a plethora of industry models, I focus on people that aren’t used to being in front of a camera. The challenge allows me to build on my skill set but also provides us regular folks the opportunity to experience the process from concept to finished product.

Although based in New England, I often travel for work & shoot everything from weddings, senior photos, families etc.
